Biography

Dr. Georgia Dede is Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics and Telemetics of Harokopio University of Athens in the field of Evaluation of System and Services. She is also Expert Evaluator in European Commission and Research and Innovation Project Manager at Netcompany. She has a great experience in research and development EU and national projects. She is a graduate of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Athens. In 2007 she received a postgraduate diploma in the administration and economics of telecommunication networks of the postgraduate study program of the same department. In 2015 she received her doctoral diploma in decision making methods and in the uncertainty study for the development of a road map implemented in next generation home networks (supervisor Professor Thomas Sfikopoulos of the University of Athens). Between 2004 and 2010 she was a research associate in the Visual Communications Laboratory of the University of Athens, and since 2007 she has been working as a research associate at the Department of Informatics and Telematics of the Harokopio University and as an adjunct lecturer in undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Between 2012 and 2015 she had also a research fellowship in the University o Patras. She has been a scientific associate and project manager in various European and national research projects. Her research interests include evaluation and validation of electronic systems and services, decision making and operational research, roadmapping and techno-economic analysis, risk assessment, analysis of cybersecurity aspects, requirement analysis with application to IT, IoT applications and services as well as telecommunication, wireless optical communications. She has published papers in scientific journals, books and conferences, and is also a reviewer in scientific journals.
