In August 2013, the Department relocated to its modern facilities in Tavros, close to the center of Athens. The privately-owned six-story building of Harokopio University was funded by European and regional resources and realized through the decisive contribution of the late Professor G. Karabatsos. The Department emphasizes the continuous upgrade of its infrastructure, offering a modern and easily accessible learning environment, just a few minutes away from the Tavros Metro Station.
The two computer laboratory spaces, with 35 workstations each, are located on the 2nd and 4th floors and feature modern Linux computers equipped with i5 processors, 16GB RAM and SSD drives. The laboratories are utilized extensively for programming courses, while the workstation management is handled via an FOG server.
The Department's main lecture hall, located on the 1st floor of the building, has a capacity of up to 120 people and is fully equipped with modern multimedia infrastructure, including projectors, cameras, microphones, and sound systems. Additionally, three smaller classrooms with capacities of 50, 50 and 36 people are available, fully covering diverse educational and teaching needs.
The Harokopio University Library & Information Centre supports the educational, academic and research activities of the University community by providing access to scientific resources, study spaces, digital services, and research support tools.
Students have access to:
● printed and electronic books,
● academic journals and databases,

● and library support services for academic research and coursework.
The Library plays an important role in supporting independent study, research activities, and the development of
academic and information literacy skills throughout the duration of the programme.
